HIP Platform

One profile.
A complete picture of how someone works.

HIP is Fortinova’s own assessment platform. One assessment builds the HIP profile: what is naturally visible in how someone works, what gains room when conditions are favourable, what changes under pressure, and the skills and competencies someone brings. The result is a complete picture that supports better conversations and better decisions.

HIP stands for Human Insight Platform.

The model

Eight directions. One complete profile.

The HIP model describes how people work along eight profile directions, arranged in a circle. Directions next to each other are related; directions across from each other balance one another. A HIP profile shows how someone’s way of working is distributed across all eight directions. Every direction is part of the picture.

Everyone has a complete profile across all eight directions.

What it measures

One assessment. Four layers of insight.

Participants complete one assessment, in their own time, with save and resume. The result is built up in four layers. Each layer answers a different question about the same person.

Layer 1

Natural profile

What is naturally visible in how you work: your profile across all eight directions, in everyday circumstances.

Layer 2

Drives

What gains room when conditions are favourable: the way of working you naturally gravitate to, and the work that gives you energy.

Layer 3

Under pressure

What changes when time pressure, tension or responsibility increases: which directions come forward and which step back.

Layer 4

Skills & competencies

What you can do and bring: skills, attitude, knowledge and experience, alongside the profile itself.

Inside the report

One personal report, from model to practice.

Every participant receives a personal report that walks through the profile step by step, from the model itself to what it means in practice. The report is written for the participant first: it belongs to them, and they always see their own result.

From the report: In practice

You naturally take charge, set pace and bring people along: opening contact, convincing others and making direction visible come easily. When pressure rises, that visible, people-oriented side steps back and structure and critical testing come strongly forward: you want overview and a solid basis before moving on. Work that combines ownership and visible direction with room to keep others on board is likely to give you energy.

Teams

See the patterns in a team. In development

The HIP team analysis brings shared profiles together into a team picture: how the team’s natural profile is composed, what drives the team, and how it shifts under pressure. It is built to support team development and collaboration.

Only shared profiles are included: every team member decides for themselves whether their profile joins a team analysis.
A team analysis requires at least three shared profiles.
The team profile shows patterns in the team’s composition: where the team naturally leans, and what that means for how it works together.
Desired team accents are a reference for the team conversation.

What a team analysis looks at

The same four layers as the personal profile, read at team level: the team’s combined profile across the eight directions, what the team gravitates to when conditions are favourable, how the team as a whole shifts under pressure, and where skills and knowledge are broadly carried or concentrated in one person.

Team results are always based on aggregated, shared profiles.

Privacy & ownership

Your profile stays yours.

Insight into people only works when people trust what happens with their results. That is why consent is built into the platform itself.

You always see your own result

Every participant has full access to their own profile and personal report, from the moment it is ready.

Two separate choices

Sharing your results with your organization and joining team analyses are two independent decisions. Each can be made and withdrawn separately.

Answers stay private

Individual answers remain visible only to the participant. Everyone else works with results, and only with the results the participant has chosen to share.

How it works

From invitation to conversation.

1

Invitation

Participants receive a personal invitation by e-mail and log in securely with a one-time code.

2

Assessment

They complete the assessment in their own time. Progress is saved automatically, so they can pause and resume whenever it suits.

3

Personal report

The personal report is generated and appears in the participant’s own dashboard: theirs to read, keep and share.

4

Conversation

Shared profiles become the basis for development conversations, team insight and better people decisions.
